Outside, unwind on our covered back porches with spacious crushed granite courtyard. An additional upstairs balcony overlooks the tranquil fields and ponds with fountains and native greenery.
Welcome to a groom’s ultimate retreat. The Grand Cave, provides a full kitchen (with a large refrigerator for cooling liquid refreshments), common area and changing area with multiple TVs and surround sound. Just outside the patio area is an outdoor fire pit and yard games available for evening or daytime relaxation all within short walking distance to the wedding ceremony location and the Grand Venue- but out of sight from the Grand Manor (brides get ready area).
Welcome to the Grand Venue where the beauty of a native landscape intertwines with beautiful ornamental selections to create a picturesque setting for your special day. Our 6,100 sq ft facility has a stunning floor-to-ceiling fireplace, seating for up to 300 guests and a spacious dance floor. The Grand Venue features a full caterers’ kitchen, an indoor bar, large restrooms, beautiful lighting accents (some customizable to compliment your color scheme), and a separate DJ-band area with dedicated circuits.
Just outside the south entrance to the Grand Venue, a winding path leads to a charming ceremony site with rustic church pews and a covered altar area for the bridal party. From the courtyard of the Grand Venue, enjoy a drink at our outside bar and take in the delightful country setting with stunning views of vibrant sunsets and a nighttime skyline showcasing the distant twinkling lights of San Antonio.
The property combines elegant traditional elements while embracing country farm features. The adjacent working cattle ranch adds to the charm of the Grand Venue.
Yes, we love to host bridal showers, birthday parties, graduation parties, corporate events, anniversary parties, etc. Depending on the size of your event we have two facilities available. The Grand Manor holds 50 guests and the Grand Venue holds up to 300 guests seated.
You get access to the Grand Cave, Grand Manor, and Grand Venue for the whole day – 10am- midnight! Our gorgeous brown resin chairs, round tables, and rectangle farmhouse tables as well as the church pews at the ceremony site are all included and set up for you at no extra charge. We also do the final cleaning for you.
You will be able to seat up to 300 guests inside the Grand Venue and still enjoy the dance floor. Weather permitting, you can expand to the patio with another 40+ or more onto the courtyard. Of course, if you are looking for an outdoor reception or celebration, the courtyard is mostly open space, and simply beautiful for a tent rental.
We really only have a couple. We require that all alcohol is to be served by a TABC licensed and insured bartender. We also require that all food must be served by an insured caterer. We have a preferred vendor list with vendors who satisfy these guidelines. The other is that all events serving alcohol, we require Security for your event which is scheduled by us.
Yes, we do! You may use almost any professional vendor you want, but since the quality of your wedding is important to us, we work to keep a list of those that we trust will go above and beyond for you.
An hour for rehearsal is included in your venue rental, and may be scheduled 30 days prior to your event pending availability, or you may schedule it for the morning of your event at any time.
To be safe, we do have the ability to flip the Grand Venue, and of course, there are options for tent a rental.
Yes! We have the Grand Manor and Grand Cave conveniently located on site for out of town guests or your wedding party. The Grand Manor can accommodate up to 10 guests and the Grand Cave can accommodate 2 guests, being the perfect honeymoon suite for the night of your wedding.
Yes, we have multiple HVAC systems to ensure that our guests are comfortable.
You can bring in your own decor, but it can only be installed in a way that will not damage our facility—no staples, tacks, tape, glue guns, or nails can be used. Anything that requires hanging with a ladder, other than a step ladder has to be done by a professional company, such as a florist or lighting company that has a liability policy. Birdseed, rice, confetti, flower petals, glitter, and pyrotechnics are not permitted inside or outside the facilities. Sparklers will only be approved and supervised by Grandview staff.
Client is responsible for removing all personal items.
We love our furry friends but for the comfort and safety of all we request that no pets be on the premises. Of course the exception of this is ADA Service Animals.
So happy you want to book with us! All you need to do is sign our contract and pay 50% of the base rental fee.

I hosted my friend’s baby shower at Grandview Weddings and Events in La Vernia, Texas. The owners were amazing. They provided a tour of the venue and were extremely fair in pricing compared to other venues. The house is a literal mansion with amazing space and views of the beautiful countryside!
